Collabro announces the successful launch of its shared, cloud-hosted Personnel On Board (POB) and travel management system for the Australian Energy industry. It is the first locally-hosted service of its kind in the region and is set to modernise the sector's landscape by improving industry-wide infrastructures and working practices. Safety and efficiency improvements are already being seen with the provision of a shared centralised personnel database that has end-to-end travel management abilities.
The transition and acceptance period for all Operators who joined at launch is now complete since the service officially went live on Sunday, 14th May 2023, with the first helicopter departing from a regional Airport in Victoria at 5:15 am.
There has been widespread adoption among major International Oil Companies (IOCs) in the country, with the move having been a resounding success receiving positive feedback from all users.
Designed through collaboration with key local Operators and utilising CGI’s industry gold standard Vantage POB software as the core component, the solution incorporates Collabro’s proprietary Toolkit and a range of innovations to meet the enhanced data protection needs and unique logistical challenges of the Australian Energy Industry.
